Analysis of Langston Hughes.

        Advice for All         Langston Hughes is considered by many readers to be the most profound discolour poet of the twentieth century. During his sprightliness many thought that he was a voice of the Afri fuel-American people and a pinnacle pillowcase of the magnificence of the Harlem Renaissance. This idea is evident in righteous some exclusively his rimes including Mother to boy. Here the metaphor of a crystal stair is universe used to convey what the mothers biography has been like. The crystal stair represents a life of glamour and magnificence. The mot her is telling her son that in that location is no glamour in her life. She says Its had tacks in it, and splinters, and boards torn up, and lay with no carpet on the floor--Bare (line 3-7). This represents the hardships that she has had to go through. There conduct been obstacles in her life that she has had to overcome. She also describes her life as macrocosm bare.

She feels as though her life has been plain and in that respect is really nothing in it.
